Charlotte Currie – Personal Assistant
Hi, I’m Charlotte Currie, Personal Assistant to the Operations Director at Leicestershire Garden Design Company. My main duties revolve around diarising appointments and meetings, liasing with clients and businesses, recruitment and supporting our Operations Director, Barry, in communicating with the team. I look after the apprenticeships here at LGDCo with local colleges and general office administration also.
I graduated University in 2014 with a First-Class degree in Law and Criminal Justice. I was lucky enough to win several awards for my work; The DMU Vice Chancellor Award 2013 and again in 2014, The DMU Outstanding Student Award and The Leicester Mercury Young Achiever Award 2012-13. Alongside University, I worked for several Law firms as a Paralegal, expanding my legal knowledge. After my degree, I went into management for a world renown skincare brand, spending the past 4 years of my career there.
I joined Leicestershire Garden Design after searching for a new challenging, exciting role; a change of direction. Since joining the LGDCo team this year, I haven’t looked back, and this has turned out to be my most rewarding career move yet! I am so proud to work for LGDCo. The workmanship and thought that goes into every single transformation, alongside the quality time that LGDCo invests in its people is something seldom seen these days. The business is moving at an extraordinary pace, and everyday there is something different to get involved in. I truly love working in such a forward-thinking environment, where everybody shares the same goals and ethos, and see a permanent and rewarding career within this company for myself.
