LGD host Easter egg hunt at the Tea Rooms, Newtown Linford for Menphys Charity – March 2016.
The idea of holding an Easter egg hunt in the old post office tea room gardens was dreamed up by our director Barry Randall and Menphy’s marketing manager Tracey Morris.
The old post office tea rooms is opposite Bradgate Park and has a fantastic outdoor seating area complete with archways, raised beds, and an artificial lawn area. The garden was designed and built by Leicestershire Garden Design Company and was celebrating being open for one year.
“A landscape gardening business completed a new garden at a tea rooms in two weeks ahead of the busy Easter period.
A team of up to 10 workers at Leicestershire Garden Design carried out the rush job at the Old Post Office Tea Room, opposite the Newtown Linford entrance to Bradgate Park.
New owners wanted the garden spruced up in time for the busy holiday period and the warmer summer months. Barry Randall, operations manager at the East Goscote-based garden business, said the tea room’s new owners fell in love with the place and decided to take on the building and renovate it.” – Leicester Mercury

In this BBC show, Richard Hammond hosts a hidden camera series in which he heads up a team of ‘secret’ agents that carry out missions on behalf of members of the public. These trained professionals and their hidden cameras could be lurking around any corner, at any time, pulling off hilarious and heart-warming stunts. The owners of LGD Co., Barry and Jeff Randall, had the embraced the opportunity to transform a Leicestershire mother’s garden after playing the prank of excavating her entire garden.
